Dating back to the 18th century, the 30-bedroom inn has just undergone an exciting redevelopment. Opened in summer 2008, the inn boats a superb new dining and bar area and comfortable rooms all overlooking the harbour at Seahouses.  Add panoramic views of the Farne Islands and the inn’s famous namesake Bamburgh Castle and you’ll discover The Bamburgh Castle Inn truly is the inn place to be.

Rooms are arranged over three floors as double, twin, single and family room options. Many have harbour views.

Our superior sea facing rooms have their own private terrace overlooking the quay towards the Farne Islands. All rooms have new furniture, bathrooms and fixtures plus colour televisions and well stocked tea and coffee facilities.

Guests enjoy access into the fabulous Ocean Club health and fitness club - just moments from us - at reduced rates.

Elsewhere in the Inn there are plenty of nooks and crannies with comfortable seats to sit back and watch the world go by or to cosy up with a newspaper.

There is the snug Sea View bar upstairs with its incredible seascape views and a light and airy open plan dining and bar are. Watch the colourful party boats going to and from the Farne Islands as you dine.

The inn’s pleasant grounds with outside eating and drinking tables stretch towards the harbour above the village’s 18th century lime kilns.
